Thank you for visiting my website. I am excited to share information about my upcoming memoir No Longer Silent: How I Found My Voice after Sexual Abuse. My memoir focuses on healing from childhood trauma and incest specifically. I hope my book will help others struggling to share secrets they may have hidden or are still hiding. Healing is possible. There is only one way out and that’s working through the traumatic past to get to the other side. The process can be difficult, but the reward yields strength, courage, and resilience.

I will also be posting blogs about various topics including my travels with my husband and spending time with my grandchildren. Nothing gives me greater pleasure than watching my grandchildren growing up surrounded by love and seeing them thrive.

As a young mother, my hope was to raise my children with self-esteem and a strong sense of self-worth. These were areas that I struggled with as a child and I wanted to do better for my children. My shyness and secrets held me back. Fortunately for me, I had the unconditional love of my grandparents and my uncle. It was this love that kept me going.

My hope is that my grandchildren and great grandchildren flourish with love and kindness. And, that they know they have a voice to speak up if they need to.
